Ink Blending and Pencils

I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog (and the My sweet Petunia Blog)with a couple cards using this gorgeous stamp set, Dahlia Bouquet that uses the Ink Blending and Pencil technique that Gina K Designs used on her YouTube channel.

To create the first card I placed a white panel in the Original MISTI, I also used the Creative Corners so I could stamp this large flower by Picket Fence Studios in the center of the panel. I used these amazing Brushes and blended ink over the entire image after I blended the pink and green ink, I used Polychromos pencils for accents. I placed the panel in the Mini MISTI and stamped the greeting and embossed it in clear powder.

To create the second card, it was pretty much the same as the first, except I embossed the image this time using Ink on 3's embossing ink and white powder.  I also used one of my favorite sentiment sets on this one.

Give this technique a try, it's fun!
