Bluebonnets

Happy Sunday!
It's time for a new challenge at AAA Cards and I love the twist to this one, Positivity. We all could use a little more positivity in this sometimes cruel world. I look forward to seeing your take on the twist if you do to use it.

For my card I used the A Bluebonnet stamp for the July Release by Picket Fence Studios.  I started with a white top folding card base and a watercolor paper panel. I stamped the bluebonnet with the black hybrid ink and then used some Daniel Smith watercolors to paint it.  I laid down a yellow wash to start with and then painted the image. After it was dry I came back and added some highlights with a white gel pen.
This card was inspired by my friend, Lydia. She is an amazing watercolorer and artist. This uses my attempt at one of the techniques she uses called atmospheric water coloring
