It's a Nice Day for a White Wedding

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS and our hostess Vicki chose the code word wedding. As soon as I saw this the White Wedding song by Billy Idol jumped in my head so thus the title to this post ad I just so happened to need a wedding card.  I hope you will play along.

I love the elegance of a black and white card. To create this one I started with a white top folding heavy weight card base and a layer of Black Onyx for the mat. For the lower portion I used the Thick Brush stencil by Gina K designs along with the Black Glitz Glitter Gel, which is amazing, easy to use and easy clean up. I sprayed the stencil with some Pixie spray (which is also amazing) laid it on top of my card stock and then spread the Glitz Glitter Gel over it with a palette knife. To finish the card I stamped the greeting from the Cake Toppers set using the Black Amalgam ink.

I have used affiliate links in my post, what does this mean? If you follow the links or click on the description picture below and shop from them, I will receive a small commission from the sale which is no additional cost to you but compensates me for using the product and my time.
Thank you for your support!

  5. Using the glitter paste really dressed up your card, Ceal. My son and daughter-in-law had a black and white wedding and your card would have been perfect for them.
