Hello and welcome to the Stamping Friends Trifecta bloghop and giveaway.
My Sweet Petunia, Picket Fence Studios and Gina K Designs have all teamed up for one grand bloghop with lots of inspiration.
There is also a giveaway, each company is giving away a $50 gift card to their store. All you have to do is leave a comment on each blog, winners will be randomly selected from the comments of the participating blogs. All winners will be posted on the company blogs no later tan June 7th.
I have a couple different cards to share with you.
The first one I used the Press & Seal technique aka Floating Die Cuts.
To create this card I started with a top folding White heavy base weight note card, a panel of White layering weight and a panel of Black Onyx for the mat.
I stamped the butterflies from the Elegant Asters set on a piece of Artist Choice cardstock using Black Amalgam ink, colored them using Copic Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. Next I laid the panel of white layering card stock down and then placed the butterflies randomly only touching a little bit. After I achieved the look I wanted I placed a piece of Press & Seal over them to hold them in place, I used foam tape on the back of each one and then placed them back on the panel and cut off the ones that overhung. I stamped the greeting from the You Make me Smile set using the watermark ink and embossed it using white embossing powder on a strip of Black Onyx that I cut down using the Cut-Align.
To create my second card, I started with a top folding heavy base weight note card and a panel of layering white. I stamped the beautiful girl Marti by Picket Fence Studios using the Black Hybrid ink and colored her with Copic markers and cut her out using the coordinating die. I also used the Elegant Asters set by Gina K Designs for the flowers.
From here you will head over to Lisa's blog to see what she has in store.
