Colorful Birthday

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by. I am sharing another card using Crafty Notes, a February release set from Gina K.

This card is also for the challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More  which is a Photo Inspiration challenge 

When I saw the photo,  I immediately thought craft room so what better set than the Crafty Notes set. 

To create this card I started with a top folding white base weight card stock from Gina K. I love her base weight card stock  because its very thick for the base and her layering card stock is just right for layering and with the base being thick it holds up very well.

I stamped the watercolor palette on a piece of watercolor paper, colored it using Daniel Smith watercolors and then cut it out with the coordinating die. For the background behind the palette I simply brushed light strokes of color. To finish the card I added the sentiment. Easy card, simple to recreate.
