A new challenge is up at Addicted to Stamps and More and it's my favorite
To create my card I used a Christmas set by Sweet n' Sassy stamps, Thrill of Hope to show it doesn't have to be used for a Christmas card. I made a masculine encouragement card for someone battling cancer.
I started with a white top folding card base and some purple tae for masking, I used distress oxide inks in Broken China, Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade and blended them in the area between the two pieces of tape. Next I stamped the trees from the Thrill of Hope set and to finish the card I used the greeting from the Scripty Thoughts set also by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
This would be a nice sympathy card
ReplyDeleteI love this and will have to remember this as well for cards for other occasions. I can see it as a beautiful sympathy card too. And, I love the wonderful sponged background to which you added the trees.
