Ribbons of Many Colors

It's time for our August  encouragement challenge at Calling All Sistahs
Loved this challenge because not all cancer is pink, in fact the ribbon for the cancer in which I am a survivor for is peach.
How our challenge works is that we give you an inspiration photo and you are to make a project using it as your inspiration It doesn't have to be a card for someone who has cancer, it can be for someone who has lost a loved one or just needs a pick me up. All we ask is that you actually mail it
Here is the inspiration photo

This month since our inspiration photo focuses on the different cancers we are asking you to create a card for someone who is battling a form of cancer because not all cancer is pink.

oh and there is a prize involved
a $25 voucher to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and if you use CAS-ual Fridays products and are the winner it will increase to $50

For my card I created a background using the alcohol marker marbling technique using Copic markers and then added a white ribbon for someone battling lung cancer. The greeting is from the Hope Ribbon set and I also used the Ruffled Ribbon Fri-die as well.

  2. The copic marbling technique looks so cool. It reminds me of tie dye. :)
