NBUS



NBUS??
 I was like what? I have never played in Darnell Knauss's Challenge before, so I had no clue what the word meant. Well it means "Never Before Used Schtuff" I thought, I have plenty of that since I just got in my pre oder for the Occasions catalogue. 
I have a friend who just lost her mother a couple days ago, and I needed to send her a sympathy card so I pulled out my Something Lacy background stamp which was perfect and paired it up with those beautiful butterfly dies.  If you are not signed up for my Butterfly Basic class, you should because there are so many things you can do with this Gorgeous set.

Since I used a new never before inked stamp I am entering this one in he challenge at CASology 


and NUBUS Challenge #3

    This card is beautiful. When I first started making cards 15 yrs. ago, I vowed NEVER to make sympathy cards as what I was seeing did NOT look appropriate. The more I learned (and accumulated) the better my cards were becoming and now they have become myfav. ones to make! You did a fantastic job. Cudos to YOU!

    So pretty in this monochrome colour scheme, but a versatile design, too - pop up the colours and this could be used for many other less sombre occasions! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!

    This took my breath away, Ceal. I think it is serene and sympathetic and it will bring much comfort to your friend! I'm sorry for her loss.

    I am, on the other hand, happy that you discovered NBUS! Thank you so much for playing along in my NBUS Challenge #3 and thank you for joining the CASology challenge, too!!! I think you described perfectly what other folks not familiar with NBUS must have said when they were over at CASology. A double-take and a "say WHAT?!"
