Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have been enjoying our birthday celebration hop. If you arrived here from Grace's blog then you are right on track if not you will want to start from the beginning at Stampin Sisters In Christ. because there are many blessings along the way and chances to win prizes like a $50.00 certificate to one of their sponsor stores how cool is hat!?!, so we hope you'll join us! All of the blog links will also be there in case there's a break along the way.
When I was asked to join this blog hop and told I was to use my favorite scripture I thought okay that's easy because I can truly claim Philippians 4:19 because God has supplied for my needs so many times, but God said no I don't want you to use that scripture and directed me to the scripture he directed me to when I found out I had cancer, so here are my verses of scripture
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty , you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
For I am the Lord , your Go., the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
Isaiah 43:2-3a
God totally reminded me of how he is with me through All that I go through, you notice God said When not if you go through,. We all face difficulties in our lives and God is right there with us. I said that Philippians 4:19 was my verse, well this verse carries that verse so much farther. God does meet our needs but He cares for us and is always with us when we face the difficulties of this life. If you go down to the end of verse four God says this "because you are precious to me. You are honored and I love you." (Isaiah 46:4b)
God loves us no matter what we do, no matter who we are. God loves us and wants to have a love relationship with each of us. Have you given your heart to Christ? Do you have a love relationship with him? If not He is waiting. Thank you for allowing me to share with you and if you are not sure about your eternity please feel free to contact me.
For my card I used PTI cardstock and kaisercraft design papers, and simply printed the verses off my computer.

ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous paper Ceal, such vibrant color! And I almost teared up when I read that verse that too, is one of my favorites. Such vivid imagery in Isaiah but words we can hold on to! Wishing you a blessed week! So glad you came out for the anniversary.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you used Ceal....and the great verses! Without Him, life would be nothing....I am not sure how anyone can walk through this oppressed world without him!!! Have a blessed week
ReplyDeleteCeal this is beautiful, love the colors and design paper. Love your choice of scripture, it is such a great reminder that troubles will come but our heavenly Father is with us through it all.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card and what a verse to lean on in your time of need.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so cool! I really, really love the color combo! God has his hand in this blog hop BIG TIME! :) I also had a scripture picked out, but He wanted me to head in another direction as well. It is so wonderful to know that He will always be with us, no matter what we go through. It's also comforting to know that He does not promise we will not have trials. We all need to grow and I think that is what trials are for, growing and learning to lean on the promises He has made to us, that with Him, we can go through anything. Thank you for allowing God to use you to speak to so many people today!
ReplyDeleteOh Ceal, lovely paper with this verse and it's such a beautiful card. I am always so blessed to be able to stop by your blog to see what you've done lately to glorify the Lord in all that you do.
ReplyDeleteCeal, I love the colors and paper that you used on your card. I am so glad that you listened to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to share this scripture. What an encouragement. I hope you have a blessed day today!
ReplyDeleteWe all face troubles, small or big. Nothing is too small or too big for the King! He has promissed to walk with us no matter what. And I have needed that so many times. Often in troubles we feel alone, but with the Lord there is no need to...
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love everything about it! It speaks to me!
ReplyDeleteI am sitting here speechless, Ceal. I was moved to tears to read these comforting words from Isaiah (a promise, really), but when I saw the beautiful way you've showcased the verses, well, WOW!
