It's Monday and time for another
Recipe Challenge. Julie challenged us to make a Comfort Food recipe card. This one was quite challenging for me, not the comfort recipe part (I have plenty of my Mom's recipes) but the actual card part. We are to make our recipe card look "homey" also. So I ended up choosing my Grandma's buttermilk fried chicken recipe. The childhood memories of going to my Grandma's on Sunday after church to have lunch with her, makes this a comfort food for me. The tough part was how do I make a fried chicken recipe remind me of that? I came across this red gingham paper and bing the light bulb went off. My Grandma's table cloth looked just like this and she had a chicken coop also, so I pulled out my rooster stamp.
To play along just create your "Comfort Food" recipe card and post a link on the
