Good Sunday morning! I hope you have started your day with worshiping the Lord. Our challenge hostess this week at Stampin Sisters In Christ is the talented Peggysue and she chose this verse for us to ponder."Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion,
for great is the Holy One of Israel among you."
Isaiah 12:6
Her challenge is to make a card that shows or expresses JOY or Joyfulness. For my card I used a Verve Plain Jane stamp with a verse also out of Isaiah. I love this verse, just to think that God trades our ashes for beauty and our morning for joy. Yesterday I attended the funeral of a co-workers uncle who was a true servant for the Lord. This verse was so visible there because the family had such Joy in celebrating the life of their loved one whom had gone to be with the Lord forever and is healed of cancer. Praise God that He gives us His peace in times when we need it most and turns our mourning into Joy.for great is the Holy One of Israel among you."

ReplyDeleteThat is so lovely, it fits your blog title, simply beautiful. And yes, there is a great God we serve who can turn our mourning into joy, it is sad to miss a family member but joy in knowing they are resting with the Lord.
