SSIC #13

This week Peggy Sue is our hostess and she really gave us a challenge or she did me I must say.
God lead her to chose this verse:
"For now we see through a glass, darkly;
but then face to face: now I know in part;
but then shall I know even as also I am known."
1 Corinthians 13:12 (KJV)

Her challenge challenge related to that verse , involves a technique, the shadowbox card. No more shadows, no more dim reflections when we get to heaven! Well I had never made a Shadow Box card so at first I thought Oh No! This turned out to be a very simple and fast card to make. HERE is a tutorial to help you. The set I used is Elegant Blessings from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I added some skickles for a little bling.

  2. This is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL Ceal!! LOVE that cross and the bling you added to it. The soft shade of pink allows the cross to be the focal image and it's so pretty! :) Great job! These really ARE fun to make!

  5. Ceal, Your shadow card is one card that I would leave up all year. I can see it beside a lamp, bible and candle. Now that would be a designer card. :o)

  6. And you forgot to mention that you embossed your cover cardstock too, or it looks like it, what a great touch! This is so elegant and just so simply sends the message of our ultimate comfort. Great shadowbox.
