Good Tuesday Morning!
It is time for another Sherrod Studio Tuesday Throwdown challenge. This week we have a technique challenge for you, "EMBOSS RESIST" It is a fun technique and we would love to see your cards. To play along go to the Store blog and leave a link to your card using Mr. Linky. If you post to an online gallery please use keyword sstt02 so we can find them all in one place.
For my card I used the flowers "Friendship Blossoms" set which is a great set for this technique. The sentiment is from the "Gracie" set. I used the Indian Summer papers from Basic Grey. I am loving this color combo!
In case you do not know how to do this technique its pretty simple. First stamp your images in versamark ink then sprinkle with White embossing powder, heat and sponge your colors over it. The inks I used are Bubblegum, Autumn Terracotta, and Honey from Close To My Heart.
