Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone. As 2008 came to a close I thought about what I have been going through, the tumor I have on my spine, my husbands job being in jeopardy, the medical insurance, the economy, just all the uncertainties of this world. Then God reminded me of how certain I can be in HIM, my hope is in HIM. In my quite time this morning HE gave me a verse I will share with you.
Dear brothers and sisters whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. When your faith is tested your endurance has a chance to grow. James 1:2-3.

I have started another blog titled "Simply Believing" just a blog for me to use to share what God is doing in my life that may be a comfort to someone. I would say that the number one resolution made for a New Year is weight loss and is probably the most broken as well. I do need to lose weight and I will try harder to do that but my number one resolution is to become closer and closer to my Savior to imitate HIM in a way that others will see Jesus when they look at me in whatever situation I am in. I invite you to visit this blog as it will hold me accountable to let others know what Jesus is doing in my life.
