Happy Independence Day to my American friends

Today's card uses a new layering stencil (Paisley Bandanna) by The Rabbit Hole Designs. When I first saw this stencil I immediately thought country, so I paired it up with the Soft Hugs cotton set. I used red (well pink) white and blue since my post was scheduled for July 4th.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding white A2 card base and a white panel for the stencil. I created the background using the stencil and then cut it at an angle and only used half of it because I actually poked myself and bleed on the top portion ..oy 

I stamped the cotton sprig on a seperate piece of paper, colored it using OLO markers and the cut it out with the coordinating die. 

To finish the card I added a greeting also from the July release.
