More Slimline Cards

I am back to share a couple more cards with you using the new Slimline Stencils by Picket Fence Studios. Both of these cards use the Broken Fence Slimline Stencil by Picket Fence Studios, they just use different techniques.

The top card uses the stencil in the normal way I just blended a rainbow background using distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. For the sky, I used Broken China. I stamped the Sunflower from the Face the Sun set and colored it with Copic markers. To finish the card I fussy cut out the sunflower and popped it up and added a birthday greeting from the Charles the Chameleon set.

The second card is much brighter and I used the reverse stencil technique. 

I created a rainbow background using distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock feathers and Wilted Violet. This time I played them until I got a vibrant background. Next I sprayed the stencil with Pixie spray and went over the entire front with Soot distress ink. I stamped The Rose stamp and fussy cut it out and popped it up on the front. To finish the card I added a thank you greeting from the Brides Bouquet set.
