Summer Fireflies

I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog today with this card using the Fireflies on a Warm Night set. 

Where I am from we call them lightening bugs and I love to watch my dog try to catch them.

To create my card I started with a pale aqua card base, and a white panel. I used  the Broken Fence Stencil and the Life Changing Blender Brushes to create the background. I stamped the Jar from the Fireflies on a Warm Night set on Brstol card stock and colored it with Daniel Smith Watercolors and cut it out with the Coordinating die.  I added fireflies to the jar and made "light" by using Daniel Smith Watercolors. To finish the card I added some bakers twine around the neck of the jar.
