Watercolor Christmas

I'm back with a late night post so I could get this entered in a couple challenges
I love this Scripture Tree stamp from the Christmas release at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, it's so easy to make a quick card with.
To make my card I started with a Coastal Cabana top folding card base and a piece of watercolor paper cut to the exact size of the Mini MISTI. I always use the MISTI tool when using watercolor paper because of the texture it's hard to get a crisp impression. I stamped the image with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder twice to get more dimension. After heating it with the heat tool I placed it back in the Mini Misti and watercolored it using Zig clean color real brush pens, and then spritzed it with water and let the colors blend together. After I was satisfied with the results I cut the watercolor panel down using a stitched die from My Favorite Things. To finish the card I added some sequins for sparkle.

I am entering this one in a couple challenges
