Take Flight

Happy Taco Tuesday!
I am on the So Suzy Blog, sharing this card today using a September release stamp Take Flight with one of my favorites Blowing Butterfly Tree.

To make my card I started with a top folding A2 card base, a white panel cut with a stitched die, distress inks, post it tape and of course my Bff MISTI

To start I masked off the top position of the panel and sponged Tumbled Glass distress ink and blended Blueprint Sketch into it, masked off another portion and sponged Tumbled Glass again but this time I blended Broken China into it, for the third portion I sponged Broken China and blended Mermaid Lagoon into it and for the last section I sponged Evergreen Bough and blended Peacock Feathers into it. I stamped Blowing Butterfly Tree in versa mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder, I also stamped just a small portion of the Blowing Butterfly Tree in the top corner and embossed it as well. To finish the card I added the sentiment in black so it would stand out.

I am also entering this one in the Simon Says Monday challenge

  2. Another stunning card! You are so skilled at blending colors and I love how the blending is subtle, but you can still see the horizontal sections. LOVE that look! The white tree looks amazing and really feels full of energy and movement. What a great card that would be so perfect for so many people! Thank you for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
