It's Eureka Day!

 For this card I used a background stamp 

 58501 Butterfly Background but only colored one butterfly to give it a more CAS look. Eureka had awesome wonderful stamps you could use to achieve this look.

It's Thursday and Team B's turn to share challenge cards and that mean me! Our challenge this week is Ovals, easy challenge so I do hope you will play along. For my card I needed some more "boy" cards so I used Playful Dino. I colored him with my copic markers and sponged around the edges.

 Today is my day to share on the Meljen's Design DT Blog and I wanted to share here as well .

I am sharing a Clean & Simple (CAS)  card. I love CAS cards and that is pretty much my style. Some have a hard time making a CAS card but for me it just comes easy here are a few things to remember when making a Clean & Simple card 

From the SCS CAS challenges:

* not the tools

* not the embellishments

* lots of white or open space

Tuesday Throwdown #95 ~ Go Sparkly

 

Hi there!

It's Tuesday and time for another throwdown. This week we want you to Sparkle, use some sort of sparkle on your project/card, it can be glitter, rhinestones, any thing that sparkles. 

I know yu are thinking where is my sparkle? Well I made this card and after I was done I realized I had not added any sparkle, so I used a Spica glitter and added shimmer to the center of the flowers. You can't see it in my photo tho but there is a clear glimmer in all the centers of the flowers.

Gotta love technology. Yesterday I was having blogger issues, today I am having internet issues. Posting from my phone hope it works. 

It's Biblical Impressions DT day. I used this cute stamp  82508 - Painting Lady Bug. The paper is from My Minds Eye. Love this little stamp, it was fun to color and can make a spring or fall card.

Use any distress/sponge techniques for your creation to look vintage/antique

For my card I used the Butterfly and Flower image and to make it OLD I sponged around the image and distressed the sides of my design paper.

I hope you had a blessed Easter yesterday. It's time for another Kabooble Doodles challenge and this week our challenge is New Life. That could mean anything from marriages to babies. As I reflected on the meaning of Easter this challenge came to mind and I just had to make this card. We all have New Life when we accept Jesus, the risen Lord to be our Savior.  What a way to welcome a new life huh?

This month we are all about Butterflies  and for my card I used 20801 Butterfly & Sunflower I stamped my image twice, colored it with my Copic markers and then stamped the image twice again and cut out the butterflies to pop them up on the card.

Eureka Stamps Dt Day

 

Today was/is my DT day for Eureka stamps, I got all busy with Easter preparation and totally forgot to post my card for Eureka Stamps. So here it is I used the stamp  21001 Hybiscus & Bee, pretty stamp huh? I colored it with my copic markers and added a little shimmer to the flower and bee's wings.
