Heart Blooms

Well I think it may finally be spring time in Colorado, the sun was shining yesterday and it got to 72 and is supposed to be 80 today and  tomorrow. What great weather for Mom's weekend. I am ready for warmer weather and this inspired me to make a cheery card.  I got some new goodies from Paper maniac and haven't gotten a chance to play now.

Sweet 'n Sassy now has a Digi Challenge Blog and today is our First challenge YAY!  If you have been following my blog you may have noticed that I did not post a Crazy4Cocoa challenge this week. Sentimental Mother

This week at Sentimental Sundays we have a special challenge!  "Mother's Day" or "For a Woman." The reason why this one is special is that we will have an optional challenge of "Craft with a Child." We feel that it's a wonderful thing to be able to bond with a child through crafting and art!
For all those who submit something created by a son, daughter, niece, nephew, child next door, etc, you will automatically receive the Krafty Kids Sentiments for the crafty child and the Mother's Day Sentiments for the crafty adult who helped them.
We also have Deedee's Digis as a sponsor this week, but to go along with that some sad news. Deedee will be closing shop on May 15th so therefore will no longer sponsor us :(
I have been with Deedee since the beginning and will miss her beautiful stamps but completely understand her decision to close the business. Today's economy makes it hard for a small company to survive.  Please stop by her store and grab some of her lovely digis before she closes shop.
