Grandma's Attic

My card share with you today was made with a couple challenges in mind.

The Mod Squad's challenge is Grandma's Attic - Grab a doily

I never got to go up into my Grandma's attic but my card is inspired by what I picture being up there. I made the background wood (the attic) and then I am sure along with those doilies grandma had some silk flowers and some twine as well.
I am also entering this at

CAS on Sunday's challenge is Ribbon and/or Twine

Supply List:
Stamp Sets: Stippled Blossoms, Hardwood (Stampin Up)
Doily:(Stampin Up)
Twine: (Stampin Up)
Inks: Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Crumb cake

  1. The wood grain background is perfect to mimic Nana's Attic, you're very clever! The cut or folded doily reminds me of a shelf draped in a lovely eyelet lace. And of course your beautiful rose, front and center. I also love the circle of fine jute twine you used for an accent. Thanks so much for joining in the Mod Squad Challenge I am Hosting!
