Fashion Statement

Hi there!
My card I am sharing with you today is one I made for round 2 of the CAS fall DT search on SplitCoast Stampers. I am humbled I was chosen for round 2.
The challenge is Fashion Statement, to make a CAS card using design paper. Using design paper can be tough sometimes for a CAS challenge because you tend to go overboard and its not a CAS card anymore. I used a couple Unity stamps for my card. The paper doll dresses are from the Material Girl set and I used October Afternoon dp. The sentiment is from the Garden Variety set. you can find both these sets and lots more at Paper Maniac.

Dieting Saved My Life

I don't know about you but this girl is ready for fall. The last couple days we have had nice weather and because we have had no rain our leaves are also starting to turn. Fall is one of my favorite times of year to decorate my home.
This little guy is from QKR Stampede and the name fits this stamp perfectly "Skinny Turkey". I added the sentiment printed from my computer.

The Perfect Christmas Tree

Happy Birthday Stampin Sisters In Christ!

This post will stay on top during the hop. Please scroll down to see recent posts

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have been enjoying our birthday celebration hop. If you arrived here from Grace's blog then you are right on track if not you will want to start from the beginning at Stampin Sisters In Christ. because there are many blessings along the way and chances to win prizes like a $50.00 certificate to one of their sponsor stores how cool is hat!?!, so we hope you'll join us! All of the blog links will also be there in case there's a break along the way.

When I was asked to join this blog hop and told I was to use my favorite scripture I thought okay that's easy because I can truly claim Philippians 4:19 because God has supplied for my needs so many times, but God said no I don't want you to use that scripture and directed me to the scripture he directed me to when I found out I had cancer, so here are my verses of scripture

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty , you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
For I am the Lord , your Go., the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
Isaiah 43:2-3a

God totally reminded me of how he is with me through All that I go through, you notice God said When not if you go through,. We all face difficulties in our lives and God is right there with us. I said that Philippians 4:19 was my verse, well this verse carries that verse so much farther. God does meet our needs but He cares for us and is always with us when we face the difficulties of this life. If you go down to the end of verse four God says this "because you are precious to me. You are honored and I love you." (Isaiah 46:4b)
God loves us no matter what we do, no matter who we are. God loves us and wants to have a love relationship with each of us. Have you given your heart to Christ? Do you have a love relationship with him? If not He is waiting. Thank you for allowing me to share with you and if you are not sure about your eternity please feel free to contact me.
For my card I used  PTI cardstock and kaisercraft design papers, and simply printed the verses off my computer.

Now on with the hop your next stop will be Cindy and she has some wonderful scripture as well as her project to share with you.

God Bless!

It's Belli Day

Noses For Sale

This week Deedee's Digis is sponsoring Stampin' Sisters In Christ here are the deets:
"Our challenge hostess this week is the godly and irrepressible Randi Barrett! Her faith and sense of humor are such a blessing to all of us." here is what she chose as her scripture and challenge

Scripture: Proverbs 17:22 "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
Challenge: create a "clean" humorous card. Let's see some laughter!

I thought that this Noses For Sale digi fit this challenge perfectly, it is clean humor.
