Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there in blog land.
Since my Dad passed away Father's Day for me has taken on a new meaning. It was at this time in my life that I had strayed away from God and with my Dad's passing I returned back in the arms of Jesus where I belonged and rededicated my life to HIM. Now when Father's Day rolls around I not only think of my Dad who is with Jesus but I think of my heavenly Father so much more and how he took the place of my earthly Father. This card today is made to honor my Dad but also to give honor , praise and glory to God my Father who is the King of kings. I love this verse! God gives us so many gifts. My dad was a great gift to me but the greatest gift you or I could ever receive is the gift of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ! If you have not accepted that gift please accept it today because there may be no tomorrow today is the day of salvation.
My card uses a Sweet 'n Sassy scripture stamp from the Thanksgiving Scripture set. The sketch is from the Tuesday sketch challenge over at Christian Papercrafts Magazine. This is a great community site if you have not joined there are so many different things going on there, card and scrapbook challenges along with the sharing of God's word.

  1. Hi Ceal, I love your blog and your creations are "simply beautiful"! I'm from Searcy (arkansas) and I found you on a arkansas search. I'm interested in seeing if there are many Arkansas (and nearby) artists blogging out there. I'd love your help if you're willing! You never know what kind of opportunities could develop. (Workshops, etc.) glad I stumbled upon your blog! God Bless!!
